Their work in inclusive practices includes a commitment to increasing access and belonging for ALL students and the development of strategic plans for moving inclusion forward across the system from Preschool through High School. To support this commitment, Stanwood-Camano School District brought groups of educators to tour various demonstration sites to see inclusion in action across all grade levels and continues to provide professional development in specific inclusive practices to support their inclusive journey. These high-quality learning experiences, in alignment with their vision and strategic plan, support teams in being better equipped to identify successes that are happening in their schools and areas in which they would like to improve upon each year.
