Great Response Rate to Website Redesign Survey

In March, the information technology and marketing teams asked for your help in redesigning the College’s web page and we were thrilled to get an incredible response.

A total of 88 people shared their feedback on potential designs for a new homepage, including 32 faculty (36 percent), 33 staff (37 percent), and 23 students (26 percent).

We are now using your input to guide further development of the new College homepage with four key goals in mind:

  • Ensure our design is aligned with the UW’s overall brand guidelines.
  • Emphasize telling the College’s story (through video, images, infographics, etc.).
  • Focus on our core audiences, in particular prospective students and other external groups.
  • Create a design that is responsive to different devices (i.e., desktops, tablets, phones) and accessible to users with disabilities.

We anticipate having a penultimate version of our new homepage ready to share in late spring, and are on track to launch the College’s redesigned website in late summer.
