            Jodi Burrus Newman teaches educational psychology courses for the UW College of Education. Her focus is creating socially just, caring communities of engaged learners. These ideas are central to both her teaching and research. Specifically, her research interests include bullying prevention and exploring ways to make classrooms more equitable spaces. She has worked in a variety of learning contexts, including middle school, elementary school and child care settings.
