Position Description

We’re looking for a warm, dependable UW student to babysit our 6-year-old son on a regular monthly basis, with additional opportunities throughout the month. We’d especially welcome students studying early childhood education, child development, education, psychology, OT, or a related field.

Our son is bright, energetic, and playful. He loves building with lego, playing with our dog, riding his bike and creating his own games (where the only rule is that you can’t play it the same way twice!) We are looking for someone who is excited to get on the floor and play with him and engage with wherever his imagination takes you. You’d also be helping him with snacks/meals and eventually with evening/bedtime routine. 

We’d love to find someone who can build a positive relationship with our son and stay with our family for at least the school year. We have a large, friendly dog (65 lbs), so comfort with dogs is a must.
